Neymar Jr's son, Kylian Mbappe, has become the youngest player to score 35 goals in a single season in French football history.

The 22-year-old French striker scored his 35th goal for Paris Saint-Germain (PSG) on Sunday, becoming just the third player in Ligue 1 history to achieve the feat, and breaking the record held by former PSG forward Karim Benzema.

Mbappe's achievement is all the more remarkable considering he only turned 22 years old earlier this year. He made his professional debut with PSG in 2017 at the age of 16, and since then he has established himself as one of the most talented young players in world football.

His goal against Lorient on Sunday came in the final minute of regulation time, giving him a hat-trick and bringing his tally up to 35 goals in just 28 matches.

Mbappe's goal was also enough to secure PSG's place in the French Cup semi-finals, which they will play against Marseille on Tuesday.

Mbappe's success is not just about individual achievements, however. His performances have helped to propel PSG to the top of the French league table, and have inspired many fans to support them.
