The Spanish Football Federation (FEBS) has announced that the 2026 season of the Spanish La Liga will be held in the summer instead of the winter, as previously planned.

The new schedule involves playing 30 games in total over the course of the season, with each team playing every other team once and the top four teams from each league advancing to the Copa del Rey final.
